Emma Pruitt is our Member at Large.  Emma moved to Tulsa in 2016. She grew up in Texas and graduated from Texas School for the Deaf. She graduated from Gallaudet University in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Social Work after attending there since 2005. She was active in many organizations at Gallaudet in the community.  She later graduated from Oklahoma State University. with a masters degree in Special  Education and is proud to be OSU Alumni. She is currently working as a Deaf Ed teacher at Edison High School in Tulsa. and enjoys that she can make a difference in the lives of our deaf children as a teacher in a deaf and hard of hearing classroom.  She is also currently teaching ASL at Tulsa Community College. She is looking forward to giving her time to the Deaf Community and OAD and learning how to step forward as a leader. Near and dear to her heart is seeing LEADK happen in Oklahoma for our precious Deaf children.
