Renee’ Sites, our current President, has stepped into her role with excitement. She looks forward to helping facilitate changes and growth for Oklahoma Deaf/Hard of Hearing community for the next two years.
Renee’ is from Sulphur, Oklahoma and a 1991 graduate of OSD. She is a graduate of East Central University in Ada Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Counseling/Services to the Deaf. She interned at TSHA in fall of 2015 and from there she was hired to become TSHA’s Deaf Services Specialist and is now living in Broken Arrow, OK. She works strongly through TSHA to actively educate and serve our Deaf and Hard of Hearing population in many different areas, including but not limited to advocacy.
Renee' is one of the 2018 Tulsa Women of the Year Pinnacle Award Winners though the YWCA Tulsa in partnership with the Mayor's Commission of the Status of Woman. She was also OAD's former Miss. Deaf Oklahoma in 1993.
Renee’ has one son, Brandon Sites, 22 years old, and a niece, nephew, sister and brother in law---all who also graduated from OSD.
